Mission Statement

Welcome To the Official Website of Perkins Square Baptist Church! The Perkins Square Baptist Church and its ministries exist to fulfill the biblical command and commission or common mission as directed by Jesus Christ:

THE BIBLICAL COMMISSION

Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20; Acts 1:8

THE MISSION

Our mission is to present to the world in the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, as Savior and Lord. That people might be persuaded to receive Him as redeemer, deliverer and healer through our worship, witness and work.

The purpose of Perkins Square Baptist Church and its ministries is to develop spiritual leaders and to mobilize the Christian community to fulfill the great commission of Jesus Christ, by reaching out to people of every race, culture, sex and nation through out the world with the life-changing power of the gospel of the Kingdom of God in the power of the Holy Spirit. Exalting the glory of the Kingdom of God and His manifested Presence bringing the reality of His peace, purpose, power, provision and healing for humanity.

THE VISION

It is our objective to fulfill our mission by providing dynamic worship in an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit has dominion. Through biblical teaching and preaching we will encourage submission to Christian disciplines and practice of the Faith.

Through our daily commitment as participants modeling, praying, teaching, preaching and witnessing this sacred message to our world, we strive for the complete transformation of peoples’ lives with the support of holistic ministries of deliverance from physical and spiritual perils.

We shall strive with relentless corporate effort to develop our spiritual gifts and resources to maximize our potential and proficiency to serve God’s Kingdom and humanity, now. This is our priority!

We will do this with all our heart, until Jesus comes!

Welcome!

Daily Bible Verse

Wednesday February 8, 2012

Well then, if you teach others, why don't you teach yourself? You tell others not to steal, but do you steal? You say it is wrong to commit adultery, but do you do it? You condemn idolatry, but do you steal from pagan temples? You are so proud of knowing the law, but you dishonor God by breaking it. Romans 2:21-23 (NLT)
